Planta Cellini Forte

(2.23)
Full flavored aromatic strength in taste- yet mellow and soft as velvet in smoke and on the tongue. Refined with the berrylike barolo wine from Italy.
Notes: A former PLANTA brand made in Denmark by Mac Baren Tobacco Company. Original Italian Formula.

At first it seems to have a very rich taste, but after a few good puffs, you realize that your tongue begins to burn BITING much! The barolo grapes taste is very good, but bites and stings in the mouth! Not recommended

This was a big disappointmnet to me. I love wines and Barolo is certainly a great wine from Italy. This tobacco in the pouch has a sickening smell and in the pipe burns hot and delivers no good flavours at all. Not recommended.

Upon opening the pouch you get a wine like alcohol smell. Even from the smell you can actually understand this is going to be a sweet smoke. Somehow the pouch smell is unpleasent. Once you load it to your pipe and set the fire real fun begins. It has an somekind of really mild wine taste and full of sugary sweet. It's hard to get the taste of tobacco and by the look of tobacco components I'm not sure if it would be nice to taste the tobacco. Although I'm an experienced smoker and tried to smoke it cool, this blend tends to go hot and hurt your throat. Yes, not the tongue bite but an interesting feeling in throat. As the aroma itself is not really pleasent, I don't see any reason to smoke it after I'm done with the pouch(I only smoke it because I've only seen this blend once in my life). Also I'm not really sure if this one is still in production. Got it from a forgotten tobacco shop and this one was the last pouch with 2011 production date. Well it's better if they don't waste any resources on this blend. On the other hand it's brother Classico is an okay and worth a try tobacco.
Pipe Used: Cobs, briars
Age When Smoked: 12 years
