When pulling open the cheap-feeling OTC pouch you are greeted with a wonderful aroma that nearly fills a room. I can’t identify the smell but it reminds me of caramel or butterscotch. The appearance is lacking any black and quite wet with light ribbons/shreds and darker brown chunky shredded golden cavendish. By wet I mean this stuff is wet, but not in a natural sense. It reminds me (in unnatural oily stickiness) of Sutliff Molto Dolce in that regard. Never truly seems to dry out. It loads fine and lights oddly easily for how wet it is, and burns rather quickly and goopily down to ash. It may leave some saturated mummified pieces of tobacco in your pipe. I can taste whatever preservative or anti-mold agent is present quite easily and it nearly ruins the experience for me. This could be a great tobacco if they could get this under control. The room note is amazing and it doesn’t have very much nicotine at all. When I first opened the pouch I was excited because it smelled so good, but that quickly faded when I experienced the chemical nature of this tobacco... it had initial potential, though. It’s better than a one star tobacco I suppose........
