The Virginias offer some earth, grass, dark fruit, and light citrus. They form the base of the blend. The nutty, molasses sweet burley plays an important second lead, and also has a little earth and cocoa. The black cavendish provides some brown sugar in the background. The gold cavendish provides bread and honey notes. The vanilla toppings mildly leads over the cocoa, and tones down the tobaccos without totally muting them, although the tobaccos do peek out a little more in the last quarter of the experience. I also sense a hint of marshmallow. The nic-hit is mild. The strength level is just past mild, while the taste barely passes the mild to medium threshold. Won’t bite or get harsh. Burns at a moderate pace, cool and clean with a smooth, mostly consistent flavor from start to finish as it easily burns to the last ember. Requires few relights, and leaves little moisture in the bowl. Has a very pleasant after taste and room note. An all day smoke.

Another of my recent Villiger purchases. (See Jamacian review)
Opening the pouch the flavors in this one are cocoa and vanilla similar to 1Q to my sniffer. The moisture is fairly high when the pouch is first opened. This can be mitigated by the DGM. I'll load up a bowl for the morning commute the night before which seems to dry it out a little. You can also leave the pouch open for the day in the car which also gives your car a wonderful scent...
This one like the Jamacian can be easily packed too tight which ruins the smoke. A nice "springy" pack is the ticket here. LIghting took a couple of tries to get it really burning well.
Flavor carries through the cocoa and vanilla. Its a lot like smoking a cookie. The tobbacos are in the background burning well and helping carry the flavors which are consistent through the bowl. It burns cool without a bite unless really pushed. A little bit of moisture which is easily removed with a pipe cleaner half way through the bowl. I'm not sure if there is any nicotine in here or not... (wink)
Roomnote is a winner with the wife. She said "cookies" when she walked in.
Price is $4.20/ 1.5oz (even cheaper if you buy a few pouches at a time) from Smokingpipes.com and def beats the socks off most pouched drug store blends.
