The very nutty, earthy, woody, deep molasses and cocoa sweet burley is the star component. The smokey, woody, herbal, floral, earthy, slightly dry Turkish plays a small support role. The unsweetened black cavendish chips in with a little brown sugar. The light brown, toasty Virginia cavendish provides a drop or two of honey, and is mildly grassy and citrusy in the background. The toppings are mildly applied, and the rum is a little more than the faint raisin essence. They tone down the tobaccos to a fairly small degree. The strength is a couple of steps past the mild mark, while the taste is in the center of mild to medium. The nic-hit is mild. Won’t bite or get harsh. Burns cool and clean at a moderate pace with a light creaminess and very smooth, rich consistent flavor that doesn’t weaken at any time. Leaves little moisture in the bowl, and requires few relights. Has a pleasant after taste and room note, and is an all day smoke.
