I purchased 4 oz. after reading great reviews on blend. After smoking 2 bowls there was no raisin taste at all, slight taste of rum. Burns cool and smooth.

I was a little bummed by this. Its a good smoke, packed well, tasted like a nice rum tobacco, with a pleasing room note, that even the mizzeruz approved of. Therein is the problem for me. A nice: "rum tobacco". Notice the absence of raisin in that description. To me this is a pleasant evening smoke, but to my tastes, did nothing more than other "rum" tobaccos I have already. (Honestly, it even looks just like S.V.Rum in cut, smell and feel). I suppose I was expecting a bit more dimensionally speaking, such as "rum-maple" which does offer a unique experience to the palate. I detect ZERO Oriental or Turkish. Actually, I'm kinda miffed at the whole lack of anything but "rum". I feel in many ways like I kinda got jipped on this one, or "they" tried to get one past me. A mildly spicy fruit cakey-ish flavor is what is what I was expecting. It is not even in the same zip code as that ball park. Super Value Rum is all this is.

I suppose I'm still glad I gave it a try, as it was on my wish list for a long time. I had to know. I kinda wish I'd just bought 2oz to try *eek*.
