Deeply rich, full, and creamy. I enjoyed this heavy latakia blend more than Pirate Kake and the Captain Earl blends. This is my go to blend when I need a latakia fix.

This is a very good mixture indeed......lots of Latakia balanced with somewhat sweet Virginia. No orientals, but then if you think this blend needs them you have missed the point. Try this blend....top notch.

It is very specific tobacco. Smell of Latakia is very strong. Also taste. Even when you finish smoking, you can feel this Latakia blend... If you like Latakia VERY MUCH - you should try this one; otherwise, you won't like it. It's not an every-day smoke, it's something special.

It's a SG, so top quality is unquestioned, but, considering it is an english mixture, it is a bit too monochromatic for my taste (like Balkan Flake). In the first half of the bowl latakia is leading, in the second all VA sweetness comes out and balance the blend. For the lack of orientals i rate it 3 stars (i love smooth and round EM).
I highly reccomend, for all well balanced EM lovers, the following mix: 50% Commowealth, 50% Squadron Leader. Supreme!!!

I feel home, when i smoke this baccy. Simple proportion of high quality va & cyp-latak leaves. Straightforward stuff. 200 year old recipe. Highly recommended!

Appearance is a dark brown rough ribbon. Tin smells of musty smoke. Tastes lightly sweet and moderately smoky, with deeper notes.
Commonwealth Mixture is a nice tobacco, slightly sweet Virginia mixed with a basic Latakia smokiness. Occasional deeper notes creep in. Toward the end of a few bowls there has been something there that reminds me of a nice maduro cigar. I can recommend Commonwealth Mixture, yet it has very little to keep my interest beyond this tin.

Amazing lovely tobacco. This is my favorite tobacco now. I highly recommend it to all the english blend smokers. It's much better than alternatives for example the Macbaren Vintage Syrian. There is no tongue bite and the smoke is full taste and cool. You don't need a filter smoking it and you can smoke it in any pipe. The nicotine kick is strong. Enjoy 😉
