Upon my Uncles death,
My birth was induced so my mother could attend the funeral. I inherited his pipe collection.
I fucked it off during adolescents I'm sad to say. I remember none of the pipes, a half bent, mostly billiards and1 smaller gourd callabash.
I do not know what tobacco he smoked at Stanford or if he smoked before that at UNM. His name was Hunter Summers, I am Buck.

I started smoking a pipe as a child not knowing what I was doing and smoking whatever was on hand, cigarettes, cigarette butts or worse yet dried chew. I still chew some tobacco occasionally, mostly Red Man. I'll chew some pipe tobaccos sometime , a must if it's a rope. I've smoked old chew a time or two as a homage to miners who used to live in my hundred year old company town house. It tastes as bad as it did when I was a kid, but at least I know how to smoke it now.
I do not have a discerning palate or a way with words, but wine helps. I drink wine and I sell FINE wine and Chef prepared fine dining cusine. I started smoking a pipe in earnest @40 and I have been smoking a pipe since then, occasionally not puffing for sleep, work, irritating social interaction and sometimes sex.
