I love pipes. To me they are a thing of beauty and craftsmanship. My tastes in tobacco vary from Burleys to heavy lat mixtures. Pipe smokers are a rare and special breed. Most I have met are keen, intelligent and thoughtful people.I am nearing retirement and enjoy reading tobacco reviews. Pipes are a large and enjoyable time in my life. One of the highlights of my pipe smoking was meeting Richard Carlton Hacker at the Newark pipe show and having two of his books autographed. Erik Nording was also there and made a pipe that was raffled off. What scares me is high tobacco taxes and a government that becomes to controlling. It's already starting and I fear for our freedoms. Smoke in peace and don't give up your freedoms in the name of what's good for you and people around you, cause that's not what it's about. Lager
