About Me
Pipe and cigar smoker since 1996. Because I am an over the road truck driver, I have the opportunity to enjoy a smoke while I am working. Love tobacco of all sorts, and smoke briars, meerchaums and cobs...Lots of MM cobs on the road. Own 5 Petersons, a couple Savinellis, a Castello, a couple meerschaums, a calabash, some Ropp cherrywoods, and countless cobs.
Honestly, I like a wide variety of tobaccos and rarely find one that I detest...aromatic or otherwise. Virginia seem to be what I gravitate towards, but C & D Pirate Kake is probably my go to blend right now. I also like Crowley's Best a lot, and a discontinued blend called "Scottish Blend" that Craig Tarler used to mix up. Glad I bought up two pounds of it before it went extinct. I also enjoyed the Plantation Evening blend, but the 4 ounces I recently bought is different from what I used to get from Craig. It originally contained brighter Virginias, and was as dry as summer straw. Love tinned tobaccos from McClelland and Dunhill. Dark Star, Early Morning Pipe and Nightcap are staples when I travel.
Smoke cigars frequently, and enjoy them strong. Favorite cigars are Diesel, Tatuaje Fausto and 601 La Bombas. Oh...and Cuban Monte Cristo #2s.
