I started smoking pipes back in 1980 when I joined the US Army. My father smoked a pipe when he was in the Army and landed on Normandy Beach during WWII, So I just carried on the tradition. I am a blue collar type pipe smoker, so I enjoy bulk tobacco's of various brands and blends. I like most pipe smokers started with a drugstore pipe and blend back in the day. Today while I still enjoy all kinds of tobacco... I favor English type blends and those mirrored around the Balkan style. I am active on Pipe Smokers Forum under the same user name.. and due hope from time to time you will tolerate my well established humor. If you can laugh at life and laugh at yourself.. the rest is a walk in the park!!
