TabaquerÃa Xian Turkish Delight
(3.00)
Very smooth and subtle blend, with more than 50% Turkish tobacco. Mild fruit flavouring and hints of Latakia add mystery to this unique blend of tobacco.
Notes: The Turkish Delight Candy earned international renown thanks to CS Lewis' Chronicles of Narnia. The mild, fruity candy didn't fare well with the North American sweet tooth, but the candy remains a part of the cultural imagination.

A very nice mixture, on the sweet side of things. I always find that mixing sweet black cavendish and latakia is rather a bold technique (i.e., Frog Morton), but here it seems to work pretty well. Smooth, palatable, easy to smoke, it makes for a nice change of pace, though the Turkish element seems to be undermined by the stronger latkia and cavendish leaf.
