I have to admit I was a bit disappointed in the Boswell offering. I bought the Autumn sampler pack, and this was included.
Seems to be a blend of ribbon cut darks and lights. Tin note was really pleasant. It's a light smoke that is slow burning. Puts out a good bit of white smoke. It's not bad. Light smoke with a hint of undefined sweetness. Somewhere between a vague caramel or nougat.
The flavoring is extremely mild, even my Boswell standards. I was having trouble picking up much taste wise other than the sweetness itself. It was very mild and undefined sweetness.
I think my knock was that it had a bit of a spicy tongue bite. This really surprised me, as Boswell blends are usually smooth as silk in the tongue bite department. As vague and mild as this blend was, the tongue bite was not particularly worth it.
I will finished the 1 ounce sampler of this I got, but doubt I will order any more of this blend. It was the weakest of the 8 in the Autumn/Fall sampler. The Hunters Blend however was amazing.
