Gawith Hoggarth - Toffee Brown Pigtail.
When I bought this I wasn't too sure of what I'd make of it. I was expecting some form of nondescript sweet smoke. But, I have to admit I was truly impressed when I took my first puff! One of the few negatives is the moistness of the rope. It is in dire need of some airing prior to smoking it, unless you favour a gurgle from your bowl! The pouch note is unmistakably toffee, sweet and creamy. This comes through crystal clear in the smoke. It doesn't taste like the nondescript sweet mess I was prepared for, instead the flavour is easy to discern as being toffee. It actually gives me a warm/comforting feeling! The room note also has this toffee quality to it. Not as full as it comes through in the taste but toffee nonetheless. Nicotine now, a very simple review on N content.... very strong!
Although I was expecting a one to two star blend after a few bowls I couldn't give it less than four! Full marks.

Make no mistake this is a strong blend! The first few puffs were very much like a peppery cigar flavour! But as the bowl cooled I then got the sweet toffees on my pallet...very pleasant. Quite sticky to slice or dice (whatever your preference) and an almost maduro leaf aroma to the tobacco, but all in all not a bad smoke.

I really enjoyed this rope. I found both its flavor and Nicotine level very strong indeed, and the smoke itself very full bodied. Unlike the previous reviewer, I'm not getting a crystal clear toffee flavor, but I am definitely detecting something I can't quite put my finger on. If I think about toffee, it tastes like toffee, but, in the words of RAW 'what the thinker thinks the prover proves'. Anyway, whatever it is it's nice and works well tobacco flavor and not to its detriment.
I was sad to finish the last of this this morning and shall certainly be buying more.
I've also mixed this 50/50 with Hipster (in a bid to make the latter smoke-able) and found they worked well together. I'm learning that ropes are great for adding something to otherwise naff blends.
