Hearth & Home Cherry
(2.50)
No doubt about it, Cherry is one of the best-selling pipe tobacco flavors, but some (many) are too sweet, bite like a snapping turtle, have a chemical-y odor or are loaded with too much humectant. is cherry, but some are overbearingly sweet or are "bitey". This mellow Cherry blend is part of H&H's Mid-Town Series consists of Burley and Cavendish with an understated note of ripe cherry and is a true any-time smoke. Like all the Mid-Town Series blends, Cherry is made of excellent tobaccos but is a comparative bargain.
Notes: This blend is a match for the old Middleton Cherry Blend.

No sir. I don’t like it. I don’t.
It’s not just because it’s a cherry aromatic. It’s possible for there to be a good cherry aromatic. I’ve smoked them before. This, however, is just not one of them. It’s not. It’s bad.
The cherry top dressing burns off all too quickly. It’s gone well before you’re even halfway through the bowl. Why would you want that if you’re looking to smoke a cherry aromatic? What’s more, the tobacco you’re left with once the cherry has evaporated is flat and biting and bland.
I’ve been altogether pleased with all of the other Hearth & Home Midtown offerings, but not with this one. No sir.
