Full disclosure: I am writing this review to keep my account active. I am looking to make a return to the pipe, with better tobacco.
As others have noted, this is RYO cigarette tobacco packaged as pipe tobacco to get around a tax loophole. It's said that there is Virginia in this blend, but Burley is at the forefront. It tastes pretty much like any non-menthol cigarette, or maybe Top RYO tobacco, and has a decent amount of nicotine. And it's cheap. Expect to pick a lot of stems and twigs out of your bag if you try it.
I can see this being a decent option for a cigarette smoker transitioning to the pipe. Perhaps it could also be a cheap way to give some potency to a mild blend. Tightwads might also find merit in it. For most pipe smokers, there are better alternatives.
