Svendborg - Extra.
Take this review with a grain of salt, due to the bite I can't get past 3 bowls!
As has been afore mentioned, it contains only a TINY amount of black cavendish. The majority, practically all of Extra are brown ribbons. The pouch has to be the hardest pouch to open in the world. In the end I sliced it with a knife as the seal wasn't for breaking; almost a 'warning' for the vituperative smoke that awaits!!
The description says 'smooth, aromatic pipe tobacco'...... wrong. It should say 'harsh, hot, bitey, pipe tobacco'! The flavour's one of a sweet Danish Virginia Cavendish; not black Cavendish. It has a breadiness to it which goes nicely with this honey-sweet character. Not too unpleasant a taste. But after a few puffs I notice the bite, which steadily increases; subjective? Sure. But what isn't subjective is the heat...... it gets very hot very quickly. The burn from it's consistent but fast; don't worry about relights!!
Nicotine: quite mild. Room-note: not good.
Extra? Simple, one star:
Not recommended.
