Gawith Hogarth-No.7 Shag Unscented.
Sadly mine was soaked on arrival: long airing. But after a massive drying time it's a good smoke: basic, but good.
It's a blend where there's not too much to say about the flavour: some fire cured smoke and a touch of citrus and grass. Due to the cut it can burn fast if strained and a little hot; so take it easy. This would be archetypal for someone looking to switch from cigarettes to a pipe.
Mild to medium nicotine with a pleasant room-note:
Three stars.
