I've become a big fan of McClelland's aromatics. I've yet to try one that I disliked so far.
Lucky Day is another McClelland aromatic that I would happily add to my rotation. It has a strong caramel aroma when you open the tin. Delicious.
The taste doesn't quite equal the aroma, but I like it. It's a good "dessert pipe".
I think I still prefer "Master Penman" over this one, but it comes a close second. Highly recommend fans of aromatics and caramel give this a try.

I am not a huge aromatics fan. While I don't dislike them as a rule I usually go for something with a little more oomph to it. Out of the aromatics that I have tried this has to be one of the best. Out of the tin it's just a mild vanilla smell with very little else to it. This is one of the aromatics that is NOT goopy and messy, but lightly cased and with high quality leaf used. Doesnt bite, and burns cool.
The very pleasant vanilla actually carries through quite well into the smoke. The flavor also stays the same from start to finish, never letting off the quite pleasant flavor and staying cool no matter how much you puff. No vitamin-N that I could detect, and could definitely smoke this all day. This is also one of the few tobaccos I quite enjoy that when I smoke it around people they predictably say "Wow! That smells amazing!"
For aromatic smokers I would totally recommend this blend, and for non-aromatic smoker I would still suggest they try it.

A great, Smooth, Mild aromatic tobacco that never bites and smokes cool and dry. Caramel is first with in my opinion with whiskey second in smell. A must for smoking all day.
