Balanced delicately flavored mixture is blended from different kinds of Virginia tobaccos and a smaller share of Burley in Cyprus cut. Tobacco is very popular for its affordable price.

This was the first Stanislaw/Mostex blend that I tried and it was part of the large haul that I got from the Stanislaw Shop in Ostrava - I tried to grab as many of their blends as possible that seemed to at least somehow fit my taste, as well as any other local brands.

Opening the pouch and taking a sniff immediately reveals this an aromatic. There's a distinct side-note of something herby, almost medicinal in the blend. The varieties used range from medium to mostly dark brown to almost black, which maybe gives impression of the tobacco being stronger than it actually is. The cleanly cut ribbon packs and lights easy and burns consistently with little effort. When smoked the cocoa is not really present as such, but the earlier mentioned herby medicinal side note is, though not overly so, as it stays firmly in the background. A light and easy smoke, could be an all day but the taste to me is a little bit too weird to take several bowls of this per day.

All in all it's a light aromatic with a slightly unusual twist, take it or leave it. Not a fan myself but at least I can recommend it to those who like light aromatics, do try it if you can, I bet you'll at least find it interesting. Iirc this was super cheap too, so it could be good value for money.

(EDIT: The name of the blend seems to translate to "Saint Christopher".)
