The gold and orange Virginias offer citrus, some orange and lemon, and a light dark fruitiness with some earth, minor grassiness, and a mild spice. More often than not, I notice the orange more than the gold. The black cavendish appears to be unsweetened, adding a little brown sugar. I’m not sure what the topping is, (fruity rum?) but it’s mildly applied and doesn’t distract from the tobacco taste. The nic-hit is mild. Doesn’t bite, but I do suggest a slow cuffing cadence as it can get a little warm on the tongue. Needs a little hydration to slow the burn rate and bring out the flavors a little more. The taste is consistent from start to finish with some smoothness and a light creamy quality. Requires few relights, and leaves hardly any moisture in the bowl. Has a decent after taste. A mild all day smoke.

Now this is a very good Black Cav / Virginia blend!
The smell from the can is real pleasant. I can't put my finger on it though. Maybe a cognac or a liquor (very slight).
Upon smoking, I receive a peppery spice as dominate and a fruity cognac (orange?) coming thru at times with just the right balance. This lasts 3/4's the way down; until the sweet VAs kick in for an 1/8th and then the Black Cav finishes up the last.
All in all, this is a very mild smooth smoke with an aroma that is a crowd pleaser. A good party smoke where the "antis" would be comfortable. My wife says that it reminds her of another tobacco I smoke called, "Skilling".
Also, there is no bite, not even a sting. I could probably smoke this all day with no trouble. There's nothing wrong with this tobacco at all!...... ..... It really intrigues me.
This is a "very big" upgrade if your a candy smoker wanting to explore.
