Peretti Blend D-9575
(3.40)
Here is a blend that combines the rich English flavors of Latakia and fire-cured Virginia, plus a Burley base for coolness. It's smooth and spicy with a slight sweet tang.

9575 from Peretti is a rough, coarse chopped blend, with stringy strips of Virginia.
The pouch aroma is slightly sweet, yeasty, and delicately smoky. Packing is leaning towards difficult, there are some very large chunks of burley that need tending to before packing and lighting.
First half is mostly the nuttiness and clean burley, with a slight sweetness and the right amount of smoky Latakia. This blend isn't rough, but it does smoke a bit sharp. This is definitely a burley forward blend. The further down it gets, the less sweet it becomes. This blend really dries out the palate, so have a beverage on hand. Solid, quality tobacco, but not a bell-ringer for me. I'm unimpressed.
