Wesley's No. 55 Latakia A
(3.75)
A traditional English blend of Virginia, Turkish and latakia tobaccos, smoothed by the addition of fine American burley. A lovely clean smoke.

This blend has an immediate and very distinct Latakia smell and taste; clearly more than the 10% - 15% Latakia which is generally used in blends. A slight nuttiness also comes through due to the Burley. The Turkish mix does tone down the Latakia to a more presentable smoking experience. Many smokers experience straight Latakia as "too much, too harsh". Tolerable room note but for the Tobacco lovers, "real tobacco" hangs in the air.
