Century Columbian Coffee
(3.33)
Golden and black cavendish to which a really fresh aromatic coffee essence is added. The result is a wonderful bowl of flavor which when smoked slowly hits the spot. To quote the manufacturers .... "a gourmet smoke".

The gold cavendish provides a little grass, toast and maybe a drop or two of honey. The unsweetened black cavendish adds some brown sugar in a support role. The mildly applied coffee topping has a little depth, and a slight bitter note. Hardly has any nicotine. Won’t bite or get harsh. Burns cool and clean at moderate pace with a fairly smooth, consistent flavor. Leaves a little moisture in the bowl. Needs an average number of relights. Has a pleasant after taste, and can be an all day smoke.

Cenury Tobacco is not well know, but they have had many nice (and mostly aromatic) blends on available for years. In my efforts to locate a true Coffee flavored tobacco I tried this one years ago and while I did not fall in love with the blend and ever buy more, according to my notes from years ago, this one did taste like tobacco and did taste like tobacco. I gave it a 7 out of 10 rating and in my notes mentioned that I thought it burned a little hot and that may have been due to the fine cut of the leaf. A broader cut may have helped.
