Missouri Meerschaum Missouri Pride
(3.09)
Missouri Pride is the kind of blend that most pipe enthusiasts would associate with the Missouri Meerschaum corn cob experience. This is a blend of superb quality burleys with some Virginias added, and minimal top flavoring. The blend is made up of broken flake, with some ribbon cut burley, for a nice, even burn, and the flake processing adds a deeper flavor to the tobacco. For a smooth blend with real tobacco flavor you can enjoy all day long, try a pouch of Missouri Pride.

I just don’t get this one. It tastes like nothing except smoke. And not in a good way. Just an ashy, blasé, no character tobacco blend. Smells nice, and I even like burley. But this is not it man.
Reading some reviews of users I trust I guess I will dig it out of the trash bin and try again. But I’m not looking forward to it.

The burley in this blend just makes you want to stop smoking it and go for Carter Hall instead. When thinking of Missouri Meerschaum's longstanding reputation for 'codger worthy' products, this didn't match the reputation to me. Threw the entire pouch into the trashcan after trying it.
