This was my first time with a golden Cavendish and I love this blend. I had only tried black up until this one and it's really opened up my eyes.

The nuttiness of the burley is really quite something, and forms the base of this smoke. I find the sweetness of this Cavendish complements well with the burley. I often think as most black cavendishes as a cookie sort of taste, this is more of a mildly sweet cereal.

Away from the tobacco itself, the flavoring was also quite nice. The "berry/cherry" flavour described if more like a raspberry. A very nice tasting raspberry at that! However this is why it won't be getting a full 4 starts from me. The flavour of the raspberry was nice, but wasn't the best at complimenting the overtones of burley. It also had a vanishing ability after i left the pouch open for too long without smoking it all. The nuttiness stayed, but the flavoring didn't...

I love cherries and am always looking for a good blend flavored with my favored fruit. Happened to run into this one at smokingpipes.com, they seem to be the only one carrying it presently. Good straightforward burley blend with a fairly lightly applied cherry/berry topping. No sweet goopy mess here. Me thinks the casing really shows up more in the aroma than the flavor. Actually the flavor reminds me of Butternut Burley ,if you have tried that popular blend. Good yardwork smoke. Nothing spectacular here but enjoyable none the less. Lovely Aroma!

Tried this because my kids didn't like the va/per fragrances in my car... This sweet and smokey, clean burning, no relight, but did need a couple hours drying time in the bowl before lighting up....left a sweet/nutty aroma in my car... rich in the nutty cavendish and just enough va to give that sweet taste...
