Lane Limited Very Cherry
(2.35)
Very Cherry uses a great blend of excellent tobaccos- mellow Burley, sweet and tangy Virginia and a bit of mildly sweet steamed black Cavendish, and is finished with an amazingly rich cherry flavor and aroma. This is one that no one will object to.

There are much better cherry blends on the market. don't waste your money on this cheap, low grade tobacco that will give you a bad after taste and more than likely burn your mouth.

As a fan of aromatics, I cannot in good faith recommend this one to anyone who's a fan of aromatics. The tin note is very sweet, but artificial. The taste is similar. I suppose if and only if you enjoy artificially flavored pipe tobacco it will work for you, as you won't get much, if at all, tobacco taste out of this one in any sense.

Overall this seemed 1 dimensional yet i liked the flavor while smoking. It was the after taste that lingered that I didn't like at all.
Maraschino cherry flavor, no real tobacco flavor noted, after taste like cough syrup.

After searching for and trying several bulk cherry blend, I landed on this one. It's become my go-to cherry blend. It's a little bit moist, but burns well without an excessive number of relights. They didn't hold back on the cherry topping, which I'm OK with.
I smoke it in a couple of Grabows and always use a filter when I'm burning this tobacco. I absolutely never feel guilty about smoking this one in my home, either. It's delicious with a cup of coffee after dinner. Or lunch. Or, as a "good morning" pipe. And, few people will complain about the room note.
I like a lot of different tobaccos, but I'm not ashamed to say that I love Very Cherry. I keep about a pound of it on my shell, a pouch full of it when I'm on the road, and enjoy every bowl.

Of the three Cherry Aro blends I bought to make the chicks at camp happy, this one is the drinking blend. The mouth feel of the Cavendish blends just don't do it for me when I am in my cups. This blend has the Virginia to really brighten things up and keep the mouth feeling crisp instead of silky and 'coated' as well as the nutty tobacco taste and higher Nic-Kick that Burley lends. The topping in this one is a super bright candy flavour. Think Luden's Wild Cherry Throat Lozenges. That is the exact match. All and all, it is a crowd pleaser and a little less boring than other Aromatics I've tried. Definitely recommend this blend to any non-aro smoker who wants a bit of cherry. in their pipe-diet.

As a new pipe smoker, I'm constantly searching for a tasty tobacco blend. Unlike other aromatic tobaccos I've tried, Very Cherry has a distinctive cherry flavor, which complements the taste of the burley and virginia tobaccos perfectly. The room note smells of cherries with a hint of tobacco in the background. It packs well, lights well, stays lit and tastes good; It's a simple, tasty smoke that could be an all-day smoke for some people. Try this if you like aromatics.

Went with my son today to JR'S and picked up an ounce of this. My boy just had to smell it and then egg me on to try it. Cherry is not my favorite. At 2.10 an ounce I can power through it. Smell is like a cherry slurpie from 7 - 11. Packed it in a new cobb that I just bought. Did not want to destroy one of my good pipes. Packed It Half Full And Gave It A light. First draw I about died. Gee whiz. Casing here is so strong. Packed it down and relit for a full smoke. By all the gods I tried to like this. It was wet. It smelled to high heaven and after five minutes I was ready to quit. Grabbed a 7 up and drank it down to power through the last of it. Flavor was light. Sweet and never got a real cherry taste. I could not see this in my rotation ever. So it will go to pipe club for the brave of the young.

Attractive ribbon cut tobacco, multicolored, but mostly light colored Virginia and Burley little bit of black Cavendish in the mix. The tin note has a nice cherryNess to it that’s fruity and not artificial. It lights and stays lit well. Burns a little hot due to the VA and sugar. I didn’t find the cherry taste to be overpowering, but was definitely present and pleasing. The cherry is both tasted and present in the smoke, making a nice room note. i’d call this a medium body tobacco with a decent nicotine level, but probably not enough for a lot of people. i’m normally an English tobacco guy, but when I smoke and aromatic, I look for something like this. I would try it again.

Jar note of cherries, spices and vegetation. Tobacco is a ribbon cut of brown, light brown and a tiny amount of black. Moisture content is ok, most will want to dry it a bit. Burns moderate with a few relights. The strength is mild to medium and nic is mild. Flavoring is medium, with notes of sugared cherries, both drop to the background just past the 1/2 way point where they remain. Taste is mild to medium and very consistent, with notes of cherries, brown sugar, wood, spices, grassy, citrus, nuts, dry, acidic, orange peel/zest, hay, savory, tangy, mildly bitter, a sweet bread background note, and a smooth retro. Flavoring leads most of the bowl, trading off with the Virginias in the last 1/3. Black Cavendish and Burley is supporting. Room note is pleasant, and aftertaste is ok.

The name Very Cherry couldn't be more fitting. This has an intense, and I mean intense pouch aroma. I see a lot of reviews saying this smells artificial. Of course it does. Real cherries don't smell anything like any cherry flavoring.
The appearance seems to be a mostly Burley and Virginia. The cavendish makes up very little of this. This blend is at a great moisture level to smoke on arrival. Packs with a lot of spring, so it will need a few light and tamps.
You can actually taste the cherry through the smoke. The natural sweetness of the cavendish paired with the creamy mouthfeel of the burley really make this a solid aromatic. This also makes a great tobacco to mix 50/50 with BCA to create the Hobbit's Weed of yesterday.
