These tasty little brownies are easy to slice and require about a 30-60min dry time (to my tastes that is). The powerhouse of complex, leathery & spicy latakia in front never overwhelms as it is backed with an intense creaminess. Notes of bread, coffee/cocoa, and savory smoked bbq intensify as the bowl burns down. Lots of nicotine for an lat-blend as well.

This is my first review, and it is the first because out of all tobaccos I've smoked this is one of two which I find unpleasant, and had high hopes for.
Upon opening the tin I got a very strong ammonia smell, my first smoke was simply unpleasant ammonia and very strong Latakia. After letting the two blocks air a bit the smell became like sticking your head in a new leather bag.
The smoke seems unidimensional for me, a lot of Latakia, some orientals but overall very dry, and lacking the depth and complexity of Nightcap (my standard for English blends). I thought things could improve by letting it dry more, cutting it more fine, or more coarse, but unfortunately not.
While I understand this tobacco IS a high-quality product, it is not for me. It doesn't scratch my itch for Latakia because ever since the idea of ammonia got into me every bowl (finished the tin now) tasted the same. Letting it dry after cutting helps a bit but it never became a pleasurable bowl for me. I even considered shredding it and using it for blending but didn't do it in the end as I know the case where you pick out a specific taste and can't ever shake it afterward, so it'd colour anything I'd mix it with.
