The grassy, citrusy Virginia forms the base of the blend. The nutty, mild earth and moslasses notes from the burley seem a little more obvious at times than does the Virginia. The unsweetened black cavendish provides a slight sugariness in the background. The sweet and sour mango topping does sublimate the tobaccos to a fair extent. Has little nicotine. Won't bite or get harsh. Burns at a moderate pace, cool and clean with smooth flavor that does weaken a mite in the last quarter of the experience. Leaves little moisture in the bowl, and needs few relights. A two and a half star all day smoke.

Sutliff Tobacco Co. - Tropical Sunset #706.
Right from the opening of a pouch the words 'strong aromatic' come to mind. The moisture's how I like it to be, not 'wet' but slightly damp. The blend's made up of fairly coarse ribbons, but no twigs.
In the smoke the mangoes are unmistakable. They come through with a wallop of lemon like acidity. Of the tobaccos I find the Virginia and Burley take responsibility for the main flavour, with the Cavendish sweetness being in the support. It burns reliably, but I find the smoke becomes warm when puffed hard, and also quite bitey.
Nicotine: medium-ish. Room-note: I can see it pleasing non-smokers, but I'm not a fan!
#706? A little to 'sharp' tasting, for me. Somewhat recommended:
Two stars.
