Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation 1897
(3.00)
Erik Paul, his Grandfather, was an entrepreneur and collector who loved to travel and experience many things. The 1897 blend is a colorful combination of light, golden Virginias, bronze Burley and a touch of black cavendish. The base of rich vanilla combines with notes of mild, sweet honey for a gentle aromatic sweetness. The 1897 has more black cavendish in it and has more sweetness in terms of the vanilla flavors, and it is a little bit milder.

This blend isn't bad, but its not great. The taste is okay if you like aromatics. The room note is great, very sweet and the vanilla is strong.
I didn't enjoy it in either pipe, it was too light in the church warden. The aftertaste isn't very good but it is light.
Wouldn't recommend for most.
