E. A. Carey (Europe) Carey's Cavendish Mixture
(2.50)
Cavendish Mixture. An extremely mild aromatic blend, easy to smoke and keep lit due to its finer cut. The natural sweetness of the bright, golden, Virginia tobaccos blend with the mildness and aroma of the double fermented black cavendish for a truly satisfying smoke, laden with honey flavours.
Notes: E. A. Carey (Europe) Ltd has 15 of its own privately blended tobaccos. These are exclusively blended in Europe for E. A. Carey and can not be bought anywhere else.

Like all the Carey tobaccos I've tried, a bit on the dry side, but that doesn't seem to affect its performance. I'm not generally a great fan of aromatics, but this sounded intriguing from the catalogue description. Appearance: browns and black, fairly coarse cut. Smell in the pouch: fruity. Taste: fruity, vanilla and honey. Not as markedly aromatic as some aros, and a very pleasant, medium-strength smoke, which I will probably return to.
