Fader's Shops in Maryland have been around since Moses crossed the Red Sea (well, almost), and their house blends are always appreciated by me. I have smoked many of them over the years and went back to my notebook for some, but others are recent "smokes" when my local pipe club had a "Fader's Night" at the Tobacco Bar a year or so ago.
Point IV is, simply stated, Black Burley Cavendish soaked in Vanilla Extract and processed so that it would burn dryer than say, Captain Black, and with a little more true tobacco flavor, too. Still, way too much Vanilla for me to enjoy fully, but I did make my way to the bottom of the bowl without getting any bitterness although I did need to swab the deck with a paper towel after smoking.
