Hearth & Home Sycaway
(3.75)
Sycaway is a quiet suburb of Troy, NY; a typical all-American region, and this is a true American pipe smoking experience. A remarkable Burley blend which has the wonderful nuttiness that you would expect, but is enhanced by a very subtle flavor. If you’re looking for a tobacco that delivers great natural flavor and aroma, this is it!
Notes: Apparently discontinued 2016. Pipesandcigars.com no longer has it on their website.

This tobacco carries the trademark of the other Hearth and Home Landmark series tobaccos in that it is very mild with a soft taste and aroma. Like the other blends out of this stable it can easily be an all day smoke.
The tin says it is a burley blend with a light topping. To me, I didn't detect much, if any, of the burley nuttiness or topping. It was just an uncomplicated pleasant smoke. Something to smoke when your tongue is weary or suffers from a bit of bite from smoking Virginias. And thus, it has a place in my rotation.
I get more flavor from the OTC burleys, like Carter Hall and Sir Walter Raleigh and I enjoy the toppings they employ more. But Sycaway is much more gentle on the tongue. It doesn't bite, even if you push it.
