Bufflehead Mallard
(3.67)
Louisiana Perique tobacco lends its incomparable, deeply aromatic, soft character to this blend of rich red and orange Virginias. Aged in cakes, this is a mellow, balanced Virginia tobacco of unusual depth. Broken flakes can be smoked outdoors or rubbed out further to suit any occasion. Mature Virginia.

Bufflehead Mallard was perhaps the lightest VaPer blend I ever tasted - and enjoyed. I only smoked one tin because, frankly, it was just too light for me but I can see where a lot of pipe smokers who enjoy VaPer blends would cotton to this one. Not as remarkable as the AC Petersen in presentation or flavor, but it did remind me of that classic.
