Comes pitch black & cut rather course, but not goopy. I like to rub it out a bit and give it a short dry time, although it smokes fine immediately. This is the only 7 seas blend I've tried as it was the only one that really interested me.
Anise/black licorice, almonds, creamy vanilla, rum, some nice toasty notes. Strong on the flavorings, but they are very well done. not a whole lot of tobacco taste. Makes my mouth a tiny bit numb just like some good licorice. Burns slow and rather cool. Kind of moist in the bowl, but not goopy. No nicotine. Doesn't easily bite.
This is exactly the aromatic I've been looking for. I'm a huge licorice fan so this definitely satisfies. Like smoking a shot of Jaegermeister. Delicious. The casing/topping definitely dominates the blend but that's perfectly ok with me because they are quality flavorings and satisfies my sweet tooth perfectly.

I tried this tobacco and I have to say it's quite pleasant. Personally, I love MacBaren Original Choice and this is not very far from it, although there is a difference. Still, OC is better, but you should try this one.
