Torben Dansk No.8 Midnight Special
(3.00)
This blend is a full flavor, medium strength English blend infused with cognac. An English mixture with a pleasant room aroma. A truly unique blend of subtly sweet flavor. The high content of essential oils makes them soft and makes for a slow, cool burn. The high proportion of latakia is not obvious, as was dispensed very black sheet material. This mixture is ideal for medium size pipes.

This could be the perfekt smoke to me! But why has that tobaccojewel no nicotine??? It has a wonderful taste of sweet virginias, silky woody latakia and a little sour orients and on top , one of the best casings, I had the pleasure to smoke! A cognacflavor that comes through from the first to the last puff, and get never artificial. But it is too airy. So I have to mix it with one third IRISH OAK and I have a very satisfying smoke. Its a pitty that almost all tobaccos with a flavour are much to weak. It is nonetheless a really good english tobcco with a cognacscent
Update: Had another tin and it was totally different!! It seems to be DTM varies in their blends a lot. In the current tin is no trace of that really good cognac flavour. What remains is a very ordinary english blend with nothing that hold my interrest.
