Out of All Jack Peterson's blends - this is one takes the crown in the 1765 series with a tie with Tavern (which is a natural Full English - also recommended). The tobacco has to be experienced - but I will try to share my impressions.
First of all - it is a crossover - a tasty medium English blend that has a casing. The casing itself is very tasty - I get a very spicy rum and cola flavoring on the palate. Perhaps with a touch of vanilla too.
The flavorings do not overwhelm this fine English as the Latakia dances in and out of each puff. Wow!
Care must be given to puffing too rapidly as this blend tends to burn on the hot side - and one can get a little bite if one is not too careful. Perhaps it is because of the casing or perhaps I just inhale the stuff when smoking. But with a little restraint this one provides a superb smoke.
So - if you are looking for a crossover with a lot of flavor - give this one a whirl - you will definitely be pleasantly surprised.
Highly recommended. Take a bow Jack.
