A mild tasty smoke. The latakia is applied with a gentle hand. I did not get much of the rum flavor but the blend is smooth and of sweet subtle flavor. Did not build much strength as the bowl progressed.
The blend base is virginia with burly and a bit of latakia. Bag smell is of the rum, latakia is faint, brown and blond strands with the burly cubes falling to the bottom.
If you do not like this you can find an Altadis English (or balkan) blend that is just right for you since they have so many available, all in the mild/medium to medium range. I prefer a stronger blend in both nic and taste.
My favorite so far is Altadis English Oriental, which includes Smyrna for sweetness and a gentle touch of St James parish perique, enough latakia for me and burly for added strength.
But try a few and see if you find one that stands out for you.
