I don't normally go for the aromatic tobaccos but I will definately make an exeption with this one! It comes in a nice gold colourd tin. Upon opening the tin you can smell the aroma through the cellophane wrapping. Once you open the cellophane you are hit with a wonderful mixture of smells; vanilla, orange and almost a spicey note to it. Which leaves you wanting to get it in a pipe and lit straight away! Once lit, it's surprising how much of the original aroma you smell in the tin, carries through to the smoke. But still has qualities of 'proper tobacco' in there, as well. I've smoked this in crowded beer gardens and complete strangers have commented on how nice it smells. Definately one for a big bowled pipe. An excellent smoke, well worth every penny!

Wow, wow, wow. Everything about this tobacco is classy. It comes beautifully presented in a smart tin, wrapped in cellophane. The tobacco itself looks beautiful. It looks and smells like good potpourri.
Make an event of this one. Take one of your better pipes, and smoke it in a peaceful place, at a time when you won't be disturbed. It is very easy to pack, and burns perfectly. Once lit, there are delicate flavours to be discovered. Faintly sweet, berries, turkish delight, grapes, musk, rosewater, clove. Wonderful...
A tin of this tobacco will make a perfect gift for a good friend, or for yourself. It is something special. One of my all-time favourites, together with Balkan Sasieni and Dunhill Flake. Perhaps Peterson's best blend ever, this one comes highly recommended.

Beautifully presented in a Gold flip lid tin . The 2010 Special Reserve is a very nice smoke . Wonderful aromatic tin note - almost intoxicating fruity smell . Perfect for smoking straight from the tin . Seemed to get better as the tobacco dried out a bit. Smokes dry on the whole. Thick clouds of wonderfully smelling smoke- positivively delicious taste . I agree with the reviewer who said it can burn a little hot if puffed quickly. Room note that is second to non - positive comments from all . It must be good as I have ordered several tins to cellar . Highly recommended as an after dinner or evening smoke
