Torben Dansk Orient Spezialitat
(2.29)
A mixture of hand-picked, first-class Basma leaf from Izmir (Smyrna under the Greek flag), mildly flowery with the finest, aromatic spice.
Notes: This is one specific varietal, called "Basma", grown in Izmir (Turkey). The city was formerly known as "Smyrna" when the Greek ruled the region, that's why people keep referring to it as both "Smyrna" and "Basma", yet it is the same varietal!

Pure oriental tobacco. You can use only for blending. Mild, but tasteless with a final slightly bitter tinge. Not a great tobacco. Surely there is something better available on the market. My rating (from 0 to 10) is 4 and only a star.
