I don't know why we don't hear more about this Paul Bonacquisti invention. Just a wonderful smoke with deep, rich Latakia and a bottom of black Cavendish that explores the thought that fullness of flavor of English blends does indeed depend on the quality of Cavendish (Dunhill was great at this with several of their legendary blends). The flakes are broken up and can be smoked as is, or, with further rubbing. I detected a very light Lakeland floral hint during the smoking experience, but certainly nothing strong or flower like. A deep, full bodied smoke and certainly reminiscent of of the Danish version of Bengal Slices.

I have just recently began exploring Park Lane tobaccos with a half a dozen or so in my maiden order. Bengal is a beautiful dark rough cut tobacco with an inviting floral aroma and I do agree with the folks at PL that the original did have a somewhat floral scent, though the point certainly could be debated by those who wish to do so. I wish to say it tastes better (IMHO)! It has a rich full taste in the mouth without ever biting and the "top" note flavoring remains throughout the entire smoke. This flavoring is quite pleasant to my tastes and never becomes annoying.

This is a first rate tobacco made with premium leaf and if my four ounces ends the way it has begun it will make my list of must haves.

This excellent blend from Paul Bonacquisti is a true triumphant blend! I give this a resounding 10/10, I would give it 11/10 if possible!! This is my desert island tobacco!! The room note for me is always measured by she-who-must-be-obeyed and her opinion is this tobacco smells devine!! A win/win situation for me!! I would say this blend reminds me of tobacco long since forgotten. The quality of the blend shines through from first light to the end light ash. It burns slowly, coolly and is an excellent blend for experienced lovers of true English blends!! Oh!! Did I mention? I love this stuff!!!!

I am on the same page as Steele Cowboy and Pipestud. This is an Awesome Smoke! Since their reviews are spot on - nothing needs to be added other I enjoy this blend in larger pipes.
