Sterling Tobacco Co Bargain Blend
(2.54)
There are times when our blending operator adds the wrong ingredient, sometimes we have tobacco left from trying new blends, and sometimes we have other samples. When we have accumulated enough tobacco to make a batch we blend it all together and sell it at a reduced price. Our Bargain tobacco is not always available. When it is sold out, some time may pass before the next batch will be made and it will not be like previous batches but the tobacco will be priced very economically.

This is the "garbage-can" blend that has a strong topnote of Maple. I got this sample free so I won't complain, well not too much. Its alwasy nice to see B&Ms trying their best to get business by offering their wares for nothing. This was very flat in taste, but did have a pleasant maple/vanilla aroma that was entertaining for about 1 minute. This did not burn hot but needed some drying time before packing. If you are on a budget, not that picky about your smoke and want some really cheap tobacoo this is 15 bucks for a pound.

I mean NO disrespect to whoever posted this blend, but I have to ask: Why is this here?
Bargain blend is made up of leftovers at the end of the day (as is done in *countless* B&Ms across the country). As such, it is ever changing - not only from bag to bag, but from bowl to bowl!
Because of this, Bargain Blend is completely unratable, and should be removed from the site (I've rated it medium across the board simply because I am required to rate in order to post, and I wanted to take a midline in the interest of fairness. It is not, and cannot, be a representation of what you will experience with this blend.).

This is both easy and difficult to recommend. On the one hand it is very cheap tobacco if you happen to be broke and need something to smoke. On the other hand you never really know what you are going to get. The sample I received tasted a lot like Super Value Vanilla. I've spoken to others that claim something different. I made this a little more to my liking by adding some maple extract so I didn't have to toss it out.
Basically if the economy has got you down and you are willing to take a chance then go for it. It's really hard to review something that can change each time you get it.
