Bufflehead Barrow's Golden Eye
(3.25)
The rich fragrance and subtle sweetness of premium Turkish tobaccos and smokey Cyprian Latakia are complemented by light flue cured Virginia. The tobaccos are aged together for a very special mellow smoke. Full English.

I sure miss the Bufflehead blends and they continue to draw premium prices on eBay whenever they show up. I think Barrow's Golden Eye was about as full an English blend on the market. The Cyprian Latakia was very heavy and smokey and while it dominated the blend, the Virginia leaf was subtle yet bold enough to stand up on its own merit. I have just one tin left and it will remain in my cellar another couple of years. I hope I live long enough to get to it!
