This blend is mostly Latakia with some black Cavendish to keep things interesting. There is a pronounced Perique smell in the tin, but it does not translate into the smoke. I think you could attribute the cool smoke and total lack of tongue bite to the Perique. The black Cavendish adds some body to an already bold blend. I really like the Latakia in this blend, it is pronounced but not overwhelming at all! This blend is a bit too one dimensional to be called a favorite.

A nice heavy blend of latakia . The flavor is outrageous , in a good way , but the smoke tends to get bitter towards the middle of the bowl for me . Latakia lovers should definately give this one a try . I find it on the same level with Old Ironsides in latakia strength .
