The rather nutty, earthy, very molasses sweet cube cut burley takes a small lead over the other components. Deer tongue is no longer an ingredient, but what replaced it is woody, earthy, lightly minty and spicy, vanilla-like, and a little herbal, and is a supporting player. I suspect couramin is one of the toppings. The grassy, citrusy Virginia tends to be condiment for the most part. The smoky, woody sweet Cyprian latakia is a background player. The strength and taste levels are medium. The nic-hit is just shy of medium. No chance of bite or harshness, but the couramin does offer a hint of sharpness. Burns cool, clean and tad slow with a deeply rich, mostly consistent sweet and lightly savory flavor that translates to lightly lingering after taste. Leaves little dampness in the bowl, and needs a few relights. Can be an all day smoke for a more experienced smoker.
