The manufacturer calls this a plug. Interesting packaging looks like a piece of candy, individually wrapped. Enough tobacco for a bowl, pre-packed in a piece of paper. You just push into your bowl and woo-lah! Smoke away. Just make sure your bowl is big enough or you will end up with little bits of tobacco all over. Lol. My bowl was a bit too small. Live and learn, as I say, or all is lost! As tightly packed as it was, a half of plug is all it would handle.
It has the appearance of golden and red Virginias with a bit of fire-cured in the mix. Neatly chopped ribbon would best describe it.
The initial taste was good. Lightly sweet. Fruity. Too bad that didn't stay with me. The tobacco, itself, over powered the light casing. Burned well. Upon relighting, it seemed bitter and ashy. I suggest smoking entire bowl, as I did the following bowls.
I always re-enter a room to experience room note. Upon re-entry, I thought, "what's that odd smell?" Believe it or not, MANGOS! It's a bit strange, but pleasant.
I bought a couple boxes of assorted to sample. About $6 for 15 packets. The novelty of packaging makes it worth a try! Be good for when you didn't want to carry pouches. I'll be reviewing the others soon. Honey & Rum, Vanilla, and Vanilla Black Cavendish.
