(First Bowl 2021 Spring) Fresh from the jar, light pack, burns ok. Stuffed two bundles in my 2" deep Savinelli Quercia Jumbo. It took several attempts over the first 15 minutes to get it lit. Flavor is consistently sweet. With fast puffing flavor diminishes and takes on an ashy taste but sweetness never entirely disappears. Sweetness tapers off after the first half (an hour in for this pipe), but Creme Brulee keeps the same overall note to the end of the bowl.

I'm only posting this as a warning to other people... this tobacco was soaking wet out of the bag, and anything called "creme brulee" shouldn't really taste like mint. Not trying to be a troll here, but this is the first time I've ever thrown tobacco in the garbage. Everybody's tastes are different, but my goodness this was just unsmokable for me... however, the room smells nice afterwards! I do like Lane BCA and Dark Red, St Bruno, and War Horse Bar, so I certainly have no bias against aromatics. This one however was a trainwreck from start to finish, just utterly foul, sticky, hard to keep lit, and, really, why would a thing called creme brulee have a minty menthol flavor???

You can really taste this aromatic blend. Super rich in caramel, vanilla and honey. Sticky to the touch but that does not affect the smoking qualities; it is not too difficult to light and keep lit. The room note is outstanding. A really nice sweet aromatic. Govern Yourself Accordingly.

This tobacco arrived moist, but I like it that way despite having more effort getting it lit. So you might give it some dry time if that is your preference. As I smoke this blend I instantly note the vanilla and caramel. Those are the two main ingredients that are readily apparent. The flavor is top notch, with no bite or harshness. No nicotine was noticed. Only a small amount of residue was left in the bowl. So don't let the "goop factor" scare you away. All in all, a great smoke all day and all night. Perhaps the best aromatic I have smoked. This might just be my all day smoke.

As mentioned by others, think of this as a cheaper Molto Dolce. The differences are minor. I love this tobacco! Very unique, very sweet, very satisfying. Very fitting for an occasional after dinner smoke, but probably a little too sweet for an all day smoke. My wife loves the aroma. The aftertaste is great! If you are not a lover of aromatics go running and screaming on the other direction, this is not for you.

Purchased in bulk.
Soaking wet in the bag, leaves a brown moisture in the bag. Smell is like heaven.
Fantastic morning smoke with coffee. Smokes smooth no harshness. Flavors of vanilla, honey, burnt sugar, little tobacco flavor. Very sweet and mild tobacco. Will not leave a bad taste in your mouth for the rest of your morning. Neighbors love the smell. Extremely enjoyable.
It is soaking wet but can me smoked as is. It crackles when you light it.

Recently I smoked a fresh batch of this to compare it to Molto Dolce. Both are exactly the same in appearance, smell, moisture content, but this does lack a bit more of that candy sweet taste at the beginning of the bowl. Other than that it’s about the same. Hour of dry time and and it even crackles when it lights. Smooth easy blend. Very very close to MD and I would be hard pressed to tell the difference after 1/4 of the bowl. I did find that after an hour of dry time MD did burn hotter and was harder to keep lit. I usually dry my MD out for 24 hours. But for this test I only did an hour. With SCB you won’t need the full 24 hours .

After being a vanilla custard fan for a while now, I think that I have found my new favorite smoke. Won't disappoint aromatic fans, or fans of the custardy dessert. I also think that this smoke would be very good for the beginner palate, as long as they can get the moister-than-average ribbons that make your fingers look like you just packed a lip of chew to stay lit longer than 10 seconds.

I didn't care for the aroma when I got this so I jarred it and put it away...the aroma hasn't changed but the smoke is very pleasant. No tongue bite and nice room note of subtle creamy caramel. If you could do half points I'd bump this up to a 2.5 stars out of 4.
