This tobac will have people following you around just to get a whiff of it's intoxicating aroma. The aroma and tastes are the biggest assets to this Altadis blend.

The liabilities: It will bite like a mad dog unless treated gently. It must be dried out over a period of several hours as it is extremely moist and sticky right out of the bag.

I would reccommend this (by itself) only to those who like strong aromatics. I don't usually care to smoke this by itself, but I find that a little bit mixed in with my other favorites will give a nice flavor. My favorite is one ounce of this added to 4 ounces of Scotty's "Butternut Burley".

While a bit on the wet side, after a bit of drying it smokes very well. I had no trouble lighting or keeping lit. Smoked very well out of a churchwarden(bent). This is the first tobacco in a while that my wife hasn"t made faces at me for smoking in the house in a while! I find the smell intoxicating and reminds me of walking into a bakery full of sweets and pies. Delicious taste although a bit mild, maybe flavoring could be a tiny stronger. I will definitely smoke this after dinner with coffee or around the fireplace in the winter. If you like a good aromatic, this would be a great choice. The only real downside, i did find it left a bit more cake in the pipe than usual although a lot of aromatics do.

If you like a good aromatic you must try this one. Its loaded with vanilla and caramel flavors that remain consistent to the bottom of the bowl. It burns well, does not bite and smells great. Tends to burn more slowly due to the cut of the leaf. Needs some drying time, it comes very wet. Once dried out a little mine didn't even require a relight. Leaves a pleasant taste in the mouth. Will not leave the goo in your pipe if you dry it out properly. A winner from Sutliff!

Comes to you very wet and gooey. Smells great and smokes mild. Sweet Caramel, vanilla, and honey notes. It's like a Reisling wine only for pipes: After-dinner dessert smoke. I like it! It has a great room note but smells nothing like tobacco if that makes sense. Ghosting is a concern.

First ill start off by saying, this stuff is NOT "Molto Dolce" in bulk. It does kind of resemble it, but it falls way short. Its a nice blend, and smokes well, but if you are expecting to get "MD" in bulk, don't waste your time.......I mean there is a reason that they sell "MD" in a tin, and you pay that much for it.........because it is superb, its not this blend, close, but not it.

To my taste this is slightly less flavorful Molto Dolce.. Also in bulk. If you like the flavor of Molto Dolce but wish it was less rich than this will do the trick. It's also cheaper. For me, I'm gonna spend a few extra bucks for the heightened indulgence that is Molto Dolce. Still good though.

I’ve enjoyed my first few bowls, it started a bit wet so I let it air out for 10min before loading the pipe. It burns well and offers a nice flavor and clean aftertaste. The toppings smelled a bit heavy in the bag but about perfect when lit…. Can’t go wrong with this for a desert smoke.

This dark clustering of chunky Cavendish, coarse-cut Burley and ribboned Virginia is truly an aromatic rapture. Generously coated in vanilla, caramel and a honey casing, Crème Brulee does reasonably simulate the French custard confection of note, yum!

With a puff, a strong roll of creamy, sweet floral Vanilla leads the top registration. It is superbly garnished by delectable backing of toasted buttery caramel and softened honey that come together to close the trailing accent. The fused flavor effect is truly beguiling. Warm nuttiness and sugary spiced wood from the Burley/Cavendish circulate on the bottom as a very elusive bit of Virginian grassiness pops-in occasionally; not much though. A little bit moist straight from the pouch requiring minor set-up, #701 does not bite nor burn hot. This goodie produces a thick wisp of rich smoke. Finally, the pouch and room note are heavenly exquisite and true to the recipe’s intent, thus making this blend a scrumptious dessert-like experience.

As a newer pipe smoker, I am mainly exploring the different blends (I favor aromatic blends, although I am dipping my toes into the non-aromatic blends now) to find what I like. Opening the tin, what I smelled was exactly what was promised in the description. The flavor I tasted was vanilla, but it was not as strong as say the Sutliff Vanilla Custard and the other flavors I smelled were unable to taste. Sadly, this smells better than it tastes... I did not have any tounge-bite with this blend, had to keep relighting.
