well, it is what it is. Strongish....a bit harsh, but there are times...outdoors for example...when this could be satisfying. Im not a fan but then I tend to not like cigar leaf blends. Its a bit too monochromatic....maybe paradoxically...for my taste. Good nic hit....a notch over medium. The Latakia is present, but not overwhelming. I like the idea of this blend more than the result./ Not bad by any means but not for my taste.

Made it through the whole tin but just couldn't get into it. OK but didn't hold my interest.

The cigar and latakia were counterpoised so that I was not satisfied I had either firmly in hand. Enjoying a rich cigar, and a solid latakia in the pipe, I found neither craving was satisfied by Billy Budd.

Had my hopes up too high for this one. Nothing more than a standard tobacco and didn't really tickle my fancy in any way. Sure, a bowl of this now and then could probably slip in but it is nothing for my regular rotation.
Tastes a little sour and a little perfumed. Decent but nothing more. Overrated.

This stuff is harsh. Can burn your tongue and leave your throat sore. Also leaves a bitter aftertaste.
