Tried this a little while ago and bought several tins, thouroughly loved it, then suddenly, as if a switch had been thrown, went off it, I now have four tins sitting on the shelf gathering dust. Most likely there is nothing wrong with the tobacco, I'm sure it's just me, I was probably craving something sweet, and this was it, now craving over, back to the usual, whatever that is. I still have an open tin which I take the odd bowl from occassionaly, but still, a little on the sweet side for my palate at the moment, maybe in a few months time ?
If your looking for a a sweetish tobacco, thats mild and easy to smoke without being a cavendish and not quite a pure Virginia, this could be a good choice.

Little bit overwhelmed aroma of fresh tobacco with some kind of fruits. For me similar with Water tobacco of Four Elements from Sam Gawith and Stanislaw. Fruity aroma was stable all time during smoke but not overpower VA taste. No moisture but few relights was needed. Overall not bad smoke but very flat. I expected more... well more.

Big disappointment for me. Was expecting anything but taste is almost same as Sir Henrys Duke but the price tag is more than double. I pay the hefty price for SG Balkan Flake but this is like any decent aromatic which is available in Germany from 5 to 10 euros.

Not being a big aromatic fan to begin with, this blend was a little uneventful. The tin note was a little strong upon opening it but its strength dissipated within a few minutes. I dried the tobacco out a little as it was rather moist right out of the tin and loaded a mid sized bowl. It had a decent cherry and fruity note but nothing to over the top and it burned rather hot. The flavor was consistent throughout the bowl which was nice but it lacked an overall “WOW”. I can't say I would purchase this blend again!

My least favorite of SG aromatics. It has that lakeland smell like a candle and tastes as such. It was their for my craving and now it tastes like incense.
