Unique aromatic presentation by the Boswell clan. You will smell and taste the added topping with no problem unless your schnozz is busted. The flavor of the tobacco components does come through (surprisingly)as you smoke this aromatic blend. For those who enjoy added flavors this will be a bell ringer.
As for that caramel flavoring; it is delicious!

This is another great blend by Boswell Pipes & Tobacco. The note is of soft chocolate with a sweet tone. It has great smoking characteristics. You can slowly sip this one and enjoy or go all out with it and it delivers a great experience as well. With that said, the tobacco notes are present and not lost. Nicely balanced and blended. I enjoy this in the car when stuck in my morning Houston commute. When I open the car at the end of the work day, it couldn't smell any better and I am ready to kick up another bowl. The wife loves this one. Can't beat a great smoke you can light up anywhere that others will enjoy.

Just got my 1st boswell today. I also received a free sample of no bite delite. It is truly a delite. Makes me want to go buy a tootsie roll. NO bite delight will be on the top of my list.

A very mild blend with no bite. Smooth smoke with lite flavor. A nice room note. I think that Christmas cookie and chocolate Creme are better aromatic Boswell blends with more flavor.

Non aromatic smokers, leave, this is not one for you. But if you are, this one will surprise you. i was given this in a trade. I expected it to be similiar to Lanes BLWB but instead, I got a murti colored ribbon/riff cut, very rich tasting blend that really won't bite and yet has a lot of flavor. This one reminds me of Scottys Butternut Burley with a fuller, richer taste. I smell sweet in the pouch, but the flavor is not overly so. I get caramel but a chocolate like note to it as well. It packs well in the pipe and only takes one light to get going and it stays lit well. I smoked this in a brand new pipe I am going to dedicate to aros, so I tasted the true flavor of this one and got none of the bite of breaking in a new pipe. I smoked it all the way down to the bottom to a dark grey ash and it was dry and no dottle at the bottom. The room note is wonderful yet it does disappear fast so would be a good wife pleaser. This would be wonderful for a new smoker to start with. I was truly caught off guard by this blend and like it very much. I highly recommend it.

This is a very nice blend. The flavor profile is not the common these days vanilla etc. This has more than a couple flavors going on. You don't see a lot of pipe tobacco these days doing the brandy vibe, but this is very nice. Mixed with the coffee and others it's provides a nice soft smoke and the quality of the tobacco used in it is head and shoulders better than most. It could certainly be an all day smoke if you so desire as it will not bite at all.
The tobacco is great but I would be remiss if that's all I talked about. But that's not all I'm going to talk about. Dan and Rachel are are simply nice people and folks that is not something to just be thrown out these days, they care and they love what they do. Please support them!

As far as aromatics go, this one might be at the top of my list. I’ve noticed I do seem to enjoy Boswell’s blends I’ve smoked for the most part, but there are a few samples I’ve received that don’t do much for me. This one...however...is delicious.
Chocolate is the first taste that comes to mind with this blend. I like mine to be dried out quite a bit before smoking. I find the burn and taste to be much better this way. It’s easier to sip on it rather than draw for the flavors. I’m have found that if you pull too hard on this, it gets a funky flavor. I do get some of the Carmel, but it’s well hidden behind the chocolate. Brandy? Don’t drink it so have no idea if that’s in here. If you plan to smoke wet, plan on a number of relights which, IMO, scorches the tobacco and flavor.
I’ve also discovered this one works better for me in a smaller pipe. Larger bowls tend to lose flavor on me a little more than halfway through the bowl - no matter how smoked. I also really enjoy this with a sweeter drink, cream soda Dr. Pepper is delightful with this blend.
I can smoke this one any time of day, so when I want to enjoy a sweet smoke I reach for this. I don’t smoke it every day, nor would I smoke it as an all day blend. I consider this one to be a treat, so maybe once a week or so. I also enjoy this with new pipe smokers as an introduction to what a great aromatic should be like. Good quality tobacco, excellent flavoring and a joy to smoke.
I will always have a steady supply of this on hand.

EDIT: I felt my No Bite DeLite review deserved an update now that I've smoked it multiple times and have had a chance to live with it. I have a much higher appreciation for the flavor of this tobacco. When I want a cool, full flavored smoke with no hassle - I go to this tobacco. It's one of those that will never let you down.
I'm bumping up to highly recommend with the only caveat being I still don't like the tin note. My wife also knows the moment I open it as it's so strong and distinctly musty.
With Boswell, I'm always looking to try new blends. I haven't found a bad one yet. No Bite Delite was one of the highest rated so I figured I'd give it a shot.
Immediately, I can say it lives up to it's name. I dried it out overnight and it was still somewhat moist. It took some extra effort to get the char light but smokes like a train there after. I typically smoke on the hot side, just a curse I live with, and I smoked NBD HOT. No bite and full flavor. This is the perfect blend for new pipe smokers and those who struggle with smoking hot or getting good flavor out of their tobacco.
The flavor isn't my favorite, it's a bit musty and pungeant for my taste. Drying out it also filled my kitchen with a somewhat unpleasant smell. But it's hard to complain with the results and would recommend this to any aromatic fan.
